(More customer reviews)I was worried after reading the reviews after my purchase instead of beforehand, but I was glad I bought this snow cone machine anyway. It's extremely cute, just the right size for the family, easy to clean, and it shaves ice quickly. We've had no problems after several uses.
Someone mentioned warping blades, but that's probably due to overstuffing or something. Just drop in ice cubes and let it go. I tried putting in too much ice and even that didn't stop it from working.
Most other ice shavers require you to freeze cylinders of water, and they make extra-smooth shaved ice, but not enough to handle two kids or more.
