Snow Cone Machine Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)The second time we used this machine the cutter head became loose and jammed right in the middle of an event. (The kids at the show were very disappointed.) I tried to contact the seller through emails and phone calls and they never answer me. I must say that Amazon was great and offered to give me a full refund but I decided to try and fix the machine before I sent it back. When I removed the cover I discovered that many of the bolts in the machine were loose including the bolts that held the motor in place. The cutter head also had to be adjusted and tightened so I added lock-tite so that it would come loose again. The safety switch was also missing a screw and was literally falling out of the machine. It appeared that someone at the factory had tried to make the hole it fits through bigger with a file or something but it still didn't fit so they just left the switch loose in order to make the machine work until it left the factory. I had to cut the cover just to make the safety switch function properly and I also had to grind the ice chute down so the cutter head wouldn't rub against it. This is a great machine if you don't mind taking it apart and rebuilding it but if you want a quality machine you can plug in and use, look elsewhere.
