15 pounds Mushroom Popcorn & FREE Buttery Popcorn Salt, almost freight free Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I ordered this last week, and received it rather quickly. I popped up a batch expecting the mushroom style kernels i had received in the past only for it to look exactly like the regular yellow you can buy at the bulk bin at the super market. My suggestion would be to try and find a vendor who can sell you a smaller sample to test yourself instead of shelling out $30+ for a box of corn that could be gotten near your home for far less.
Again for those who just scan. This corn does not pop like Mushroom. It looks, and tastes just like any discount corn you can get anywhere.

15 pounds bulk Mushroom Popcorn and FREE pound of Spiceco Butter Flavor Popcorn Salt. Used for kettle corn and caramel corn. Mushroom popcorn is what is used for cracker jacks, fiddle faddle and other commercial popcorn snacks. It also makes a great low calorie snack. This popcorn is GROWN IN THE USA.......There are Different Types of Popcorn Kernels? There are two types of popcorn kernels - "butterfly" and "mushroom". The "butterfly" popcorn kernel is usually large, light, and fluffy, and it looks like it has wings, much like a butterfly. Its tenderness depends on the size of kernel. The "mushroom" type of kernel is more dense and compact, like a ball. It is used for candy coating, caramelizing, etc. It does not have "wings" that would break off during handling or cooking processes. ......Storing Popcorn Properly Protects It's "Popability"?Without moisture your popcorn can't pop. If left uncovered you can lose 1% moisture on a hot day. This doesn't sound like much but if you lose 3% your popcorn will be "unpoppable". You should always store your popcorn in an airtight container - glass or plastic - to avoid losing moisture. Avoid the refrigerator. Most refrigerators contain little moisture and can dry out the kernels. Store it in a cool, dry place such as a kitchen cabinet.
