It's very high quality, well made, with a lifetime guarantee. You can also adjust the grind from coarse to fine. It's easy to open to pour in some gourmet peppercorns -- just unscrew the little top round chrome thingy and it will open. What else can I say except it really adds to the Christmas spirit. What says Christmas like a smiling snowman? Personally, I drag out all my Christmas items, including using my Christmas china every day, after Thanksgiving. I think you'll like this mill, especially if your china or dishes have a white background.
