(More customer reviews)I bought this to go with my Christmas china and my salt and pepper shakers. This is the cutest thing I've seen in any pepper mill. It's very high quality, well made, with a lifetime guarantee. You can also adjust the grind from coarse to fine. It's easy to open to pour in some gourmet peppercorns -- just unscrew the little top round chrome thingy and it will open. What else can I say except it really adds to the Christmas spirit. What says Christmas like a smiling snowman? Personally, I drag out all my Christmas items, including using my Christmas china every day, after Thanksgiving. I think you'll like this mill, especially if your china or dishes have a white background.

(More customer reviews)One of the best pepper mills I've seen, real quality wood and craftsmanship, the bottom shown in the picture is actually the top, you grind the pepper and then stand it upside down, real easy to fill.. it even came with a plastic funnel.
A couple of turns and the grind is coarse, you feel that it's a solid piece when grinding, the mechanism is steel and for the salt mill it's plastic.
It has the Vic Firth name engraved on it...real nice.
