They go great with my color scheme in my kitchen and wish I could find some that are burgandy or red and white, then my set would be complete. These will last a long time if properly washed and taken care of. I would definately say for a few years maybe if you're good with fabrics.

I recently tried Sticky Toffee Pudding in the 4 oz room spray and it's definitely become my favorite -- I can't get enough of it! On the other hand, my mother loves the Waffle Cone and I ordered her 2 bottles from the Demeter website ($14 each, plus flat rate shipping) and they came smelling nothing like the waffle cone she loves. It almost smells rancid like whiskey. There's no problem with exchanges -- that's what their website says anyway. I don't know if it's the room spray version that is bad or if they reformulated, but I'm going to send it back and pay the extra for the cologne version.
As for other scents I've tried:
Sugar Cookie - Very very sweet. A little too sweet for me.
Brownie - An artificial chocolate smell, but not offensive. Doesn't last very long.
Graham Cracker - Hard to find the scent in the sea of alcohol in the product.
Waffle - Very maple syrup-y.
Strawberry Ice Cream - Very artificial owerpowering scent. Almost like a very concentrated strawberry Quik. (Strawberry milk powder brand.)
Scottish Shortbread - There is some sort of oil in the mixture and when it arrived it was nearly frozen. I didn't care for this smell either. sort of an almond cookie smell but also masked by the alcohol smell.
Mojito - Ick. My mom received this as a promo item somewhere and it smells like a hospital to me! I'm not sure which component of Mojito smell is doing that to it, but I'd pass.
There's a Jelly Belly line scent that has something to do with blackberries. It was a pretty harsh scent. Not light and airy -- very contrived and strong. Over the top but not in a good way. Same goes for the Blueberry Muffin in the Jelly Belly line.
Vanilla Cake Batter - Not very exciting. Very vanilla, not very cakey.
I reviewed the Rubber and Mesquite scents on Amazon somewhere -- pass on those.
Before you invest the money, go to the Demeter site and get the $5 1/2 oz splash version of the scent you like. Or just get the Sticky Toffee Pudding. ;)

(More customer reviews)Having had a passion for cotton candy since I think birth, I was goofing around one day and came across this machine, and bought it. It was super easy to put together, good thing cuz the instruction sheet is a rough picture (just use the hex head screws on the bottom, the round heads for the trays, put a washer on everything. Long bolts for wheels, short bolts on front legs 3 screws hold the dome on.). No tools required, they give you everything. Perfect, no parts left over... always a good thing! I plugged the thing in and turned it on empty and everything spun centered. I then poured in the sugar they give me, and turned it back on. Within 2-3 seconds here came the cotton candy and within 20 seconds my wife was gobbling hers down. The machine also came with cones and 2 flavors of sugar so your all set to play right away. Cleanup is super easy too! The bowl is coated so the sugar line falls right off and wipes right out, that's all there is to it, other than run all the sugar out of the spinner.
This machine will be allot of fun for many years! It came with an extra set of brushes for the motor, and another set of fuses too. I missed Halloween this year but next year I will start a new tradition for the kids. One down thing is making cotton candy smokes up the house a little, but it's happy sweet smoke, and although you can see it, it smells nice in here.

(More customer reviews)This stuff is fantastic! Strange, little, fluffy bobbles on a skinny piece of thread - and the colours change every bobble.
I bought three different colours - 'High Tide', 'Strawberry Lime', and 'Chocolate Almond'. The two bright ones were even brighter than the photos suggested. The darker shade was very close to the photo. I knitted some very unusual scarves with them by combining them with ribbon yarn. My leftovers will be used for a variety of crafting projects.
Pros: Really unusual colours, and the bright ones cheer you up the second you see them. Colours are true to the photographs. The texture is unusual: very soft, and incredibly lightweight. Surprisingly easy to knit with, and though prone to tangling, this can be prevented by unwinding just a half meter or so at a time. Definitely fun.
Cons: Can't think of any. The material is nylon. Use big needles.
Summary: Every knitter needs half a dozen of these in different colours, and then just let your imagination run riot. Put some in the center of a knitted or crocheted flower, add to a scarf, use in trimming, put in a collage, glue on to felt....

BlinQ QPF100 Popcorn Maker Review

(More customer reviews)I've had several hot air poppers over the years, none with problems. I've only thrown them out because they've gotten old and look unsightly; not because they stopped working. I'm sick of microwaved popcorn and decided to buy a new hot air popper. The Blinq is small and cute and I got it on sale at Bloomingdales for $19.99. Simply put, this is a major piece of garbage. For every kernel that pops, another 5 to 10 kernels shoot out prematurely, carried out of the machine by the one popped kernel. These aren't popcorn "duds" that wouldn't pop otherwise. These are just prematurely blown out of the machine. On top of that, a large percentage of popped kernels don't get blown towards the bowl but in other directions so there's popcorn all over the room, no matter how large a bowl is placed under the shoot. Towards the end of the popping cycle, a large number of kernels that were about to pop but hit the bowl first start popping and shoot like fireworks from the bowl (it's unclear to me how they pick up such a high, long and forceful trajectory. I've seen unpopped kernels pop out of bowls before but not THAT far). Basically, from around 4 Tbs of popcorn, I get about 1.5 cups of popped popcorn or no more than I'd get from one of those little snack sized single serving microwave popcorn bags. And I get back about 3 Tbs of unpopped kernels between the bottom of the bowl and whatever has flown all over the kitchen. I find kernels in places I'd never expect to find them, days after using the machine. Do NOT buy this machine.

(More customer reviews)This product is great in theory only. The promise of getting the taste and crunch of a pan-popped corn was a pipe dream. The design is poor. The lid traps the steam inside during the cooking process and results in tough, rubbery, styrofoam-textured corn. Plus, the popped corn had a weird taste that is indescribable.
We are loyal Cuisinart customers and have used the same model coffee maker for over 10 years. When one wears out, we quickly purchase another of the same. We were very shocked that Cuisinart developed such an under-performing product. And, as popcorn lovers, our disappointment was huge.

Cuisinart EasyPop Review

(More customer reviews)Well, I suppose it could have been worse if the thing had burned down the house, but I would still classify this machine as pure evil. It is especially evil because it bears the Cuisinart brand name, leading one to believe it is a quality machine. For the price, it certainly should be.
I am not inept, generally speaking, but this "Easy-Pop" popcorn maker is far more trouble than it is worth. It is difficult to line up the heating element prongs when you put it together. This would have been an easy design element to fix, just by having slots with wide openings that taper down as the element slides in, properly aligning it. Nope. You have to line it up just right, and the marks on the back--NOT THE FRONT WHERE YOU COULD SEE THEM--are difficult to see and line up.
So, I add the popcorn and oil and turn it on. Fifteen minutes later, it's still spinning, but I don't have any popcorn. I turn it off, readjust the handles and make sure it is latched, and turn it on again. Ten minutes later, no popcorn, and I've lost all interest by now. Still, I try a third time to see if it will even work. It finally pops the popcorn. When it is done popping, I turn it over, but because the bowl does not attach tightly to the base, I allow a gap to open and popcorn goes everywhere. While trying to get it rightd and back together, I slip and burn my finger on the very hot element. Who thought it was a good idea to have people flipping over a burning-hot burner with just two tiny handles to hold onto?
I just threw all that popcorn away, I was so frustrated. After the first disaster, I'm sure I could use it better the next time, if it will heat up. Why would they call this an "Easy-Pop" popcorn maker? That should be illegal. They should call it the Dangerous-And-Difficult-Popcorn-Maker-That-May-Or-May-Not-Work. After that experience, I just want to take it out to the driveway and run over it with my truck. And I still have to clean the stupid thing.
Worst product ever made.

We had a small glitch with the popper part of the machine when it first arrived but the company was absolutely wonderful when we called and they replaced the whole thing - no questions asked. (More customer reviews)Though visually appealing, it is the worst engineering design ever -- there is no chute for the popcorn to be guided into a bowl. I agree with other writers -- popcorn and hot kernels everywhere, which pop wherever they land and have a bland taste. TONS of unpopped kernels in the bottom of the bowl, with a burned scorch to them. The Rival seems to be a truly dangerous design, and it's hard to believe they haven't voluntarily or involuntarily recalled it. Over the years, I have had much better experience with Presto and want to return to Presto, even though it is a less visually appealing design -- OK if you like 70s retro, though!
